2010 Pilgrimage
Dates: January 10-20th 2010
Teachings: Begin in Kathmandu Nepal - on the 11th (Please arrive on the 10th- hotel arrangements will be made). Rinpoche will give the Vajrakilaya at Pharping.
On the 16th fly from KTM to Delhi and take private bus from Delhi to Tso Pema. One day there and then travel to Dharamsala.
Teachings are until the 20th.. students are welcome to stay and travel independently (Rinpoche will not be traveling with students after this time. Please respect this.)
Flight, hotel and food costs are covered by students. Expect to pay approx. $30 per day for expenses beyond travel. Cost for teachings $500. This is to cover Rinpoche's cost. Offerings are separate. $250 due by November 1st (This is refundable- there must be a minimum of 15 students to make this happen.. if there is not then the $250 will be refunded and the trip canceled.- please make sure your tickets reflect this)

Buddhism Beyond the Basics: Free public talk -open to all
Explore Buddhism philosophy and meditation methods with a true Tibetan Buddhist yogi. This brief talk gives new students a chance to understand how and why Tibetan Buddhism is compared to the highest levels of “mind-science” , the yogic techniques that bring bliss and awareness and how one enters and completes the path.
Followed by group meal at local restaurant and chance to visit Rinpoche.

Ceaseless Awareness of the Vast Expanse : open to all
Rinpoche will teach the Trek-chod and Togyal method of Dzogchen according to his own treasure revelations and experience. This is a day to develop true understanding and recognition of one’s primordial pure basis under the step by step personal instruction by a gifted meditation master.

Inner Dorje Drollo Practice and Instruction on the Copper-Tube Treasure: Restricted
Intensive practice session and deeper instruction on the Younge Dorje Drollo: The Inner Practice of the Copper-Tube Treasure utilizes the tantric meditation of Drollo-Seng-Dongma YabYum with the Dzogchen view of Ka-dag or Primordial Purity. Rinpoche will also clarify the Tsa-Lung (Wind-Channel Practice) with his own accomplished techniques.
Open to those with Younge Dorje Drollo Empowerment or by permission.
Verbal Transmission will be given in the first session.

Finding Comfort and Ease in Meditation
Younge Khachab Rinpoche returns to Kansas City to teach the profound
methods of Dzogchen Semde (Mind Collection) from Longchenpa’s
“Finding Comfort and Ease in Meditation” (Samten Ngalso).
Longchenpa, also known as Longchen Rabjam, ‘Infinite, Vast Expanse of Space’, or
Drimé Özer (1308-1364), was one of the most brilliant teachers of the Nyingma lineage.
He systematized the Nyingma teachings in his ‘Seven Treasures’ and wrote extensively
on Dzogchen. He transmitted the Longchen Nyingtik cycle of teachings and practice
to Jikmé Lingpa, and it has since become one of the most widely practised of traditions.

Vajrayana practice is rooted in the idea that the anatomy of the body itself can be harnessed as a tool for awakening. In order to harness the body in this way, one needs to understand the meaning of the channels, cakras and winds (nadi, cakra, and vayu) that govern the
functions of the physical body, their role in the development of the body in the womb, and the functions of the sense organs and so on.

ABOUT YAMANTAKA EMPOWERMENT
The Rinchen Terdzö, the Treasury of Precious Termas, is one of The Five Great Treasures of Jamgön Kongtrul the Great. It is a compilation drawn from all the termas that had been discovered up to his time, including Chokgyur Lingpa's treasures. Yamantaka is one of the yidam deities in the Rinchen Terdzod life of Chokgyur Lingpa
Yamantaka, the Diamond Terrifier, empowerment is a highest Yoga Tantra practice of a wrathful form of Manjushri. The practice uses skillful means to transform destructive habitual patterns and afflictive emotions such as fear and anger. Benefits of practicing Yamantaka include:
1. Purifying Outer (sickness, leprosy, obstacles caused by astrological phenomena natural disasters) , Inner (Three-Poison) and Secret (obscuration to realize Emptiness-Bliss) obstacles.
2. Bestowing prosperity.
3. Bestowing wisdom
4. Escorting practitioner throughout the journey of death.
ABOUT YOUNGE KHACHAB RINPOCHE
Younge Khachab Rinpoche is the Younge family lineage holder, a treasure revealer
and a true nonsectarian scholar and Dzogchen yogi. He is the seventh
incarnation of Khachab Tulku, who was known for his accomplishment of Yamantaka
and his healing siddhis.
Rinpoche makes his home in the United States and is one of the most qualified
lineage masters alive, holding both the titles of Geshe and Khenpo. He is known
for his accessibility, youthful humor and brilliant discourse.
