Younge Khachab Rinpoche was a student of the 98th Ganden Tripa Jamphal Shenpen, Gyudme Khensur Rinpoche and Khenchen Sonam Kunga at Ganden Monastic College where he studied Madyamika. Among the Great Pandits, he most intensively studied the Logic of Nagarjuna, Aryadeva and Chandrakirti. He was chosen among the graduating class for further intensive study on Tsongkhapa's Lekshe Nyingpo and Tenrdrel Tonpa resulting in the exam "Tsog Gyug" in front of the entire college . After this time Rinpoche went on to further his study with the masters of the great lineages including the great Sakya Pandit Chabje Trichen Rinpoche, from whom he recieved the essence of Sakya Madyamika view. In 1996 he studied with the great Nyingma Khenchen Pentse who taught the works of Shantarakshita. Rinpoche has profound experiential and scriptural knowledge as well as the realized meditation of Mahamudra and Dzogchen bringing a truly unique and unbiased explanation to the root philosophy of Buddhism.

This weekend's teaching is a wonderful opportunity for students of all lineages,as well as scholars, to hear the most subtle points of philosophy clearly explained in an applicable and profound way. Rinpoche will bring together the writings of the Great Indian master, Tsongkhapa, and his own profound insight during these three days, translated by Professor John Dunne of Emory University in Atlanta.
