The great Dzogchen adept, the Hidden Yogi Dingri Khenchen. Rinpoche's main Dzogchen guru. He died in 2006 at the age of nearly 100 years. He was a student of Khenpo Kunpal of Dzogchen Monastery (who was himself a student of Patrul Rinpoche) and of Bodtul Rinpoche. Many signs occured at the time of his death, including ringsel and script on the skull.
Ani Tselha, Rinpoche's aunt. She was the previous Khachab Rinpoche's disciple and spent 26 years in retreat at a cave in Pharping, Nepal. When she died she recognized her next birth, and stayed five days in meditation at the time of death. When she liberated at the end of five days, her mala fell from the shelf and two streams of red and white bodhicitta came from her nose.
